Our Store

We are a family-owned and operated jewelry business in the town of Los Altos dedicated to bringing our clients beautiful jewelry, value, and excellent service. Much of our collection has been imported from Italy by us. A growing portion of our pieces are custom designed for our clients.

Our store has been known as Rancho Jewelers for more than 65 years and has been in our family since 1987. Some Los Altos families have been clients for three generations.

Our new name, Preziosi, which means "jewels" in Italian, was chosen to reflect our focus on high quality Italian jewelry.

Romolo began his career as a watchmaker's apprentice and continues to service and restore fine watches for our clients. He began learning the jewelry trade early in his life and has worked with fine jewelry both in Italy and in this country for over 60 years.

His wife, Maria, provides an invaluable pearl and bead stringing service and creates unique necklaces with pearls, gold, and gemstones.

Gianluca performs jewelry repairs, appraisals and some of the custom jewelry manufacture. He has worked under a master goldsmith and has studied at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco. He is also a Graduate Gemologist from GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Finance. 

       Chiara Marchisio is Preziosi's newest addition and is the love of Gianluca. She has grown up in a jewelry factory in Italy and has worked with jewelry since she was a teenager. Her family has over 350 years of jewelry making experience. Chiara has a timeless sense of elegance, of beauty and jewelry fashion.
